If you use the WordPress/WooCommerce plugin, you can choose to automatically show shipping methods/shipping costs in your checkout. To set this up, you'll need to go through a few steps:
- Go to WooCommerce and navigate to Settings -> Shipping Methods.
- If you don't have a shipping zone set up yet, create a new one with the countries you plan to ship to.
- Add "SyncSilo" as a shipping method.
Your customer can now choose between Undelivered, PostNL, DHL or UPS while ordering.
The plugin also contains the possibility to set a fallback rate. This is the amount that will be charged if:
- the basket contains products that are not synchronized with SyncSilo
- there are no shipping options for the country concerned
- there is a communication/network error during calculation
You can find the setting for the fallback rate by changing the SyncSilo shipping method in WooCommerce.
