Repair WooCommerce API Connection

In case you are unable to publish products, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

  1. Check if the WooCommerce API credentials we have stored, are still current and active. You can see if the credentials match by visiting Settings -> Integrations -> WooCommerce -> Connection in the SyncSilo app, and WooCommerce -> Settings -> Advanced -> REST API within WooCommerce.
  2. By running the connection test within the SyncSilo platform, you can easily detect whether our systems are able to authenticate to your shop.
  3. Make sure your firewall allows connections from our platform by whitelisting our IP address: 34.255.245.167. Note that this IP-address can be changed without notice. If you want us to keep you updated about changes, please make sure to contact us.

Sometimes WooCommerce keys are erroneously removed because the user that was initially attached to the key is deleted. In this case you can simply generate a new API key from within WooCommerce. Navigate to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Advanced -> REST API -> Add Key. Make sure SyncSilo gets Read/Write permissions. Once you have obtained the new keys, you can update them in SyncSilo and simply hit save to restore the connection.
